Gallery as an educational space for preschool children - reflection and inspiration

The theoretical part of the bachelor's thesis is devoted to the characteristics of the preschool child and his development of children's artistic expression in the modernist concept of art education. It presents different views on the child's view of the "little artist" and looks for the relationship between art education in kindergarten and art in the gallery. It also discusses the issue of the typology of exhibition spaces in the gallery and the gallery as a space for the preschool child and the kindergarten. The practical part is realized through a didactic project with preschool children. The first part of the project focuses on a visit to three galleries with exhibitions. The second part explores and describes the children's response to the exhibitions visited in the form of preparing the children's work for their own exhibition, subtitled Exhibition through Play. The project concludes with a public exhibition opening and a final visit by the preschool children to their exhibition. At the end, the project is evaluated. Employing museum and gallery education in preschool education

The bachelor thesis deals with the use of museum and gallery education in preschool education. The aim of the thesis is to find out what activities in this direction take place beyond the guided activities implemented directly in kindergartens. The following thesis deals with the theoretical definition and implementation of a short-term project consisting of a visit to one selected gallery, followed by an art series. The thesis further consists of a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on the characteristics of the preschool child, the definition of the gallery and the museum. and the relationship of these institutions to the RVP PV. The next part defines the current concept of art education in preschool education and presents a didactic model of planning art activities, with a link to the practical part where this model is realized. The practical part is divided into two parts: a research probe and a didactic part. In the research probe, interviews were conducted with teachers in kindergartens. The transcribed interviews were subsequently coded using the open coding method. The development of musical abilities and musical skills of preschool children by musical work

This bachelor's thesis deals with the development of musical skills and abilities in preschool children with the help of a piece of music. The aim of this thesis is an educational program that will present the possibilities of developing musical skills and abilities through a musical work - opera. The thesis consists of two parts. The theoretical part is focused on the characteristics of the current concept of music education with regard to the requirements of the Framework Educational Program for preschool education, focusing on musical activities in kindergarten, division into categories and their description. Furthermore, the theoretical part characterizes the developmental peculiarities of the preschool child with regard to the development of musical skills and abilities. Subsequently, the text is also devoted to the topic of opera and fairy tale as a motivating factor. The practical part contains a curriculum focused on musical activities, where singing, instrumental, listening and musical movement activities are motivated by the musical work Rusalka by Antonín Dvořák. The educational programme is tested in practice in a kindergarten. The methods of observation and analysis of educational activities were used for evaluation.
Folk song as a means of developing dramatic and social skills of preschool children.

Bachelor thesis deals with the topic Folk song as a means of developing dramatic and social skills of preschool children. The theoretical part deals with the characteristics of the current concept of preschool education with regard to drama and music education and its definition, social learning prosocial behaviour of preschool children. In the second part, author describes musical activities and song as a motivating factor for the development of social skills. In the practical part, a program is created based on working with folk songs through the methods of drama education, which supports the development of social skills and prosocial behaviour. During the implementation of activities and subsequent detailed reflection, the method of observation, interview and analysis of educational materials is used. Each part is reflected in detail regarding the specific educational outcomes of each child.
Unusual Musical Instruments and Their Use in Kindergarten for Rhythmic Ability Development of Preschool Children

This bachelor thesis is dedicated to the topic of unusual musical instruments and their use in kindergarten for rhytmic ability development of preschool children. The aim of the theoretical part is the current view of musical education in accordance with the needs of preschool age and the terms of Framework Educational Programme for Preschool Education. The work takes into account developmental peculiarities and the development of individual musical skills and traits of children. We can also find how does music influence the personality of a child and its development as well as the systematization of unusual musical instruments for children, which are followingly classified in the context of Orff´s method. A programme for getting familiar with playing an unusual musical instruments approved in the nursery school practice is introduced in the practical part of the thesis. Another important point is the advantages and disadvantages of manufacturing and usage of unusual musical instruments. The whole of the programme is divided into ten lectures based on topics in accordance with Classroom Educational Programme for Preschool Education as well as the manufacture of an unusual musical instruments along with the motivation and the realisation of the activity. Reflection with children and self-reflection of the teacher is described at the end of each lecture.
The Use of Acting and Drama in Education in Kindergartens as a Means of Social Skills Development of Preschool Children

This thesis deals with the development of social skills in preschool education using drama education methods. The thesis consists of two parts. In the theoretical part one can find the characteristics of the current concept of preschool education with regard to drama education, the definition of the term, as well as its principles, methods, forms, means. The thesis also deals with drama education as a means for social and cooperative learning.It deals with play and free play. Part of the practical part is the structure of the lesson, according to which there are 15 lessons focused on the development of social skills using drama education methods. All lessons are linked to the season and some are motivated stories. Each lesson includes objectives for the development of social skills which are linked to the national framework educational plan. For the lesson evaluation I used the method of observation, pupil evaluation and the teacher self-reflection.
Comparison of the level of motor competencies in connection with school educational programs

Name: Comparison of the level of motor competencies in connection with school educational programs Objectives: The main goal of the thesis is to find out what is the difference between the levels of motor competences in children from two kindergartens, one public kindergarten and the other private kindergarten with a sports focus, based on the test battery MOBAK-KG. The partial goal is then to find out what are the differences of their SEP in the area of physical activities. Methods: Part of the research is the analysis of SEP documents of both kindergartens, public and private with a sports focus. The research of the bachelor's thesis also uses a quantitative method, namely testing using a test battery MOBAK-KG, which contains 8 movement tests (4 with a ball, 4 with own body). Using a battery, we test children in both kindergartens and assess differences in the level of motor competencies. Subsequently, we process the results and evaluate them using basic description and calculation of arithmetic means. Result: According to the SEP analysis of both kindergartens, I came to the conclusion that the SEP of a private kindergarten with a sports focus is more focused on sports and a healthy lifestyle, but even the SEP of a public kindergarten does not forget the importance of physical activities....

Analysis of teaching materials in the field of music education for children 3 to 6 years and their use in practice The theoretical part of the paper summarizes the current knowledge about the concept of music education in kindergarten, describes the musical ability and position of musical activities in the Framework curriculum for pre-school education. Furthermore, this work characterized the components of music education, such as singing, instrumental music and movement and listening activities. The practical part consists of two parts. The first section contains the mapping of the current situation of teaching materials for preschool children. Research method was a questionnaire survey, which was determined by width and source of musical materials that teachers use in practice with preschool children. The second part is methodical and includes songbook in which the notation of specific songs that appear when working in nursery schools. Cooperation public children libraries with kindergarten in Prague

(in English): The purpose of this Bachelor thesis is to define the structure of cooperation between children library and the kindergarten. This proces was examined from different kind of views, but primarily the proces is shown on one concrete cooperation between Munincipal library in Prague - Prosek and its children branch and kindergarten Novoborská.This final paper includes a case study focused on the kindergarten requirements concerning the librarian services provided by the library. The study is being made by using the method of quality research. The outcome of the thesis is to provide a design of marketing campaign for the Prosek's Munincipal library in Prague. The campaign is being made out using the information based on the case study combinated with the key literature focused on methods and recommendations how to work with preschool children, which can be found in the state educational program paper and IFLA guide for Children's library services. Other data used for creating the campaign are based on detailed analysis of the children library at the Munincipal library in Prague - Prosek.
